8 animal print shoes you can shop right now

This season, animal print is back in a big way. From international runways to our Instagram feed, jungle-inspired fashion has been appearing as one of the key trends of summer.

We’ve been embracing our wild side by layering up in clashing patterns and adding leopard-covered sneakers to complete the look. But we get it, all-over print isn’t for everyone. If you err on the side of caution and prefer to keep things more minimal, a touch of pattern on your feet can be an easy way to work the trend.

Here’s our pick of this season’s best animal-heavy footwear.

This style combines all the best things: bright colours, a chunky silhouette and a dash of animal print. The design details are inspired by late ’90s to early ’00s Vans silhouettes, and because it’s a skate shoe, the tech makes these guys light and comfy.

The subtle pop of leopard on Havana heel means they’re versatile enough to wear with just about anything.

Superga’s 2790 flatform brings height and a serious splash of animal print. Style with layers of leopard and clashing floral prints à la Paco Rabanne’s Fall-Winter collection, or work them back with jeans and a white T-shirt for a more minimal look.

Who said guys can’t rock some animal too? Vans has covered its classic Anaheim Authentic in bold leopard print, all the way to a men’s size 13.

This season sees Superga’s classic pool slide decked out in leopard print pony hair. However, we probably wouldn’t recommend wearing these guys to the actual pool (or beach for that matter) – water will not be their friend.

A small block heel makes these Tony Bianco babies the perfect pair of shoes to take you from the office to a night out. Our pick for entry-level jungle dwellers.

Rule any urban jungle in gorgeous detailed style with the SKECHERS D'Lites 3.0. The style gives off some serious retro skate vibes, but the animal addition makes them even more versatile and very modern.

Layer up and wear this sleek boot from Toby Bianco with swathes of clashing prints. It’ll also look equally at home in place of your trusty black boots.
